Takashi Chaya
With offices located in Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco, Takashi Chaya has proudly served the Japanese community in California with their real estate needs for over 38 years. He founded Person Realty in 1987 and has served as President, overseeing more than 2,500 residential sales, nearly as many lease agreements, various requirements for commercial properties, and a growing practice in developing business investment opportunities for his clientele in Japan and the US.
He received an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from the
Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, Japan, and a master’s degree in computer
science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, California.
Choosing to pursue a real estate career, post his education, he has grown a substantial reputation for supporting the principles of human existence: clothing and shelter and always representing his customer with the utmost integrity and
skill.
He has a long history of interest in affordable senior housing for the Japanese community and joined the foundation board in 2025 as a founding board member.
