Encompassing a half-acre of land, the grounds surrounding the Ohana Home are perfect for creating a beautiful Japanese garden for strolling, enjoying outside relaxation with visiting family and friends, or a quiet moment to listen to the many birds calling.

This enchanting small pond will be designed to be a serene, naturalistic focal point, incorporating smooth stones, water-loving plants, and a focus on simplicity and a reflection of the surrounding environment.

Our small bridge feature will be viewed from a distance. It is an area to feel a momentary cool breeze and perhaps watch the antics of the neighboring birds.

Our small Japanese-style gazebo, an azumaya, will be an elegant, open-sided structure for enjoying the garden and feature natural materials like stained cedar or pine.

Our little karesansui (dry garden), will be a minimalist arrangement of rocks to represent the natural landscape of islands and mountains.

We always want to enjoy the enchantment of bird houses and keep their sweet tweets part of our village life.

Our raised garden bed on stilts is a planting container for our residents to enjoy gardening projects with volunteers and, supported by legs to elevate it, provides ease in bending and digging.
